Itinerary

Day 01 :
Arrival

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, meet & greet by your driver guide, and proceed to the accommodation about 7 minutes away. 

Dinner and Overnight at The Boma (Bed and Breakfast).

Day 02 :
Drive to Ruhija (Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park)

After breakfast, we will head towards Ruhija, a part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park looking out for birds like Bateleur, Handsome Francolin, Crested Francolin, Emerald-spotted Wood Dove, Brown Parrot, Bare-faced Go-away-bird, Blue-napped Mousebird, African Grey Hornbill, Spot-flanked Barbet, White-eyed Slaty Flycatcher, Fork tailed Drongo, Black-crowned Waxbill, and Black-headed Waxbill among others. 

Dinner and overnight at Agandi Uganda (Full Board).

Day 03 :
Mubwindi Swamp

After breakfast, walk down to the Mubwindi Swamp looking out for species like the Black-billed Turaco, Fine-banded Woodpecker, African Green-Broadbill, Mountain Greenbul, Yellow-streaked Greenbul, African Hill Babbler, Mountain Illadopsis, Yellow-eyed Black Flycatcher, Mountain Yellow Warbler, Red-faced Woodland Warbler, Grauer’s Warbler, Chestnut-throated Apalis, Collared Apalis, Stripe-breasted Tit, Rwenzori Batis, Doherty’s Bush-shrike, Bar-tailed Trogon, Blue-headed Sunbird, Regal Sunbird and more. Certainly one of the highlights of any birding trip in Uganda, this walk is physically challenging, but taken slowly, it is quite manageable.

Day 04 :
Photograph Birds around the Neck (Bwindi Sector)

fter breakfast, bird as you transfer to Buhoma via the neck photographing birds like Black Bee-eater, Red-throated Wryneck, Mountain Wagtail, Toro Olive-Greenbul, White-starred Robin, Olive Thrush, Cassin’s-grey Flycatcher, Red-faced Woodland Warbler, Grauer’s Warbler, Chubb’s Cisticola, Banded Prinia, Mountain Masked Apalis, Chestnut-throated  Apalis, Collared Apalis, Stripe-breasted Tit, Grey Cuckoo-shrike, Sharpe’s Starling, Regal Sunbird, Strange Weaver, Dusky Twinspot, Yellow Bishop, Black-throated Seedeater among others. 

Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge (Full board).

Day 05 :
Nature Walk

After breakfast, we go for a nature walk in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will be filling in the gaps in case you missed any specials in Ruhija and the neck. This forest has more to offer, like waterfalls, primates like L'Hoest Monkeys, several plant species, and beautiful trees, hence giving you more things to photograph.

Day 06 :
Drive to Lake Mburo

Today will be driving to Lake Mburo, mainly to break the journey in half since you will be heading to the airport the next day. We will be driving through Kabale town, " The Switzerland of Africa," which has spectacular views of stunning hills, which will be irresistible to photograph. 

Dinner and Overnight at Rwakobo Rock (Full Board).

Day 07 :
Drive to Entebbe and Departure

After breakfast with your luggage, you will start driving to Entebbe, getting there in time for your departure flight.
