Reservations and Payments Reservations are confirmed only on receipt of a 20% non-refundable advance payment of the trip, safari or holiday rate. This advance payment is due within fifteen (15) days of making the reservation. Balance due should be paid not more than 60 days prior to the commencement of the trip, safari or holiday. Cancellation and Refunds In the event of cancellation or variation of services for whatever reasons Johnnie Uganda Safaris shall be entitled to charge cancellation fees as set out hereunder: 1. Cancellations received between 15 days and 60 days prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 50% of the total cost of Services. 2. Cancellation received between 7 days and 15 days (48 hours) prior to commencement of Services shall be charged at 75% of the total cost of the services. 3. Cancellation received within (48 hours) and 7 days or after commencement of Services shall be charged at the full cost or 100% of the Services. 4. Any request to amend or change a booking once it has been confirmed may be accommodated subject to space availability. If Johnnie Uganda Safaris is able to assist, an administrative fee of $100 per change will be assessed. These fees will be added to your final invoice. No refunds are given: 1. For lost travel time or substitution of facilities. 2. For itineraries amended after departure. 3. For circumstances arising beyond the control of Johnnie Uganda Safaris, necessitating alternative arrangements being made to ensure the safety and/or further participation and enjoyment of your trip, safari or holiday. 4. If you do not appear for any accommodations, trip segment without notifying Johnnie Uganda Safaris. 5. If you leave your safari after it has begun, or miss any activity, or meals.
